Spice Spoon S
€11.00€8.00
A bone china spice spoon by Klatt Objects: 11 cm of soft matte white, with a rounded bowl and slender tapered handle for salt, spices and loose tea.
The Spice Spoon S by Klatt Objects is a small bone china spice spoon with the quiet presence of a hand-shaped object. Its bowl is almost circular and gently deep, drawn into a slender handle that tapers and then rounds off at the tip — a silhouette that reads as sculptural rather than merely functional.
Made of fine bone china, the spoon has a soft, chalky white surface with a faint warm undertone, so light settles on the curve of the bowl in a diffuse, matte gleam instead of a hard shine. At 11 cm it sits comfortably between thumb and forefinger, sized for salt flakes, ground spices, loose-leaf tea, honey or condiments in small bowls.
Leave a few resting on an open shelf or beside a spice jar collection in the kitchen, set one on a linen napkin at each place for a slow breakfast, or use them on a serving board with dips and preserves. The pared-back form and porcelain-white tone suit minimalist, japandi and wabi-sabi interiors, and look particularly good against dark stone, raw wood or matte ceramics.
