Handmade crystalline white wine glasses from Klimchi's Shadows collection: a 23 cl tulip bowl on a fine 25.5 cm stem, made in Bohemia. Set of 2.
A crystalline white wine glass from the Shadows collection by Klimchi, sold as a set of two. The tulip-shaped bowl narrows gently towards the rim and rests on a rounded knop that catches the light like a bead of water, before tapering into a long, needle-fine stem and a wide, softly domed foot.
Made of clear crystalline, the surface is flawlessly transparent with a subtle refraction where the bowl meets the base, so a chilled Chablis or Bordeaux Blanc appears to float above the stem. Each glass is handmade in the family glass factory in Bohemia, Czech Republic, where Bohemian crystal is prized for its clarity and brilliance; small bubbles and slight variations in shade are natural marks of hand production and give every piece its own character.
The uncluttered silhouette suits both a formal dining table and a relaxed evening at a kitchen island, and sits comfortably alongside linen napkins, stoneware plates or a minimalist tablescape. Dishwasher safe for everyday use.
