"Erwin" Egg Pendant Vase, S

The "Erwin" Egg Pendant Vase by Klatt Objects is a small egg-shaped bud vase with an almost startling purity of form. The shell is smooth and matte white, curving without a single seam or edge, and the only interruption is a neat round opening rimmed in a soft gold tone — just wide enough for one stem, one sprig of sage, one twig in blossom.

Light behaves beautifully on this white bud vase: the matte surface catches a gentle gradient across the curve, from bright crown to shadowed base, while the metallic collar gives a single point of warm shine. At 8 cm high it is an object for close quarters — a bedside table, a bathroom shelf, a windowsill, a place setting at an Easter table, or a cluster of three on a console.
