Pinara Tealight 1638GY

The Pinara Tealight 1638GY is a ribbed glass tealight holder from Guaxs, shaped like a small rounded pot in smoky grey. The name Pinara once meant something close to "rounded", and the design lives up to it: a full, bellied body that draws in towards a deliberately wide opening at the upper edge, finished with a smooth, softly flared rim.

Vertical grooves run around the body like fluting, catching the light in alternating bands of pale and shadowy grey and giving the surface a satin, almost frosted depth. Handmade and mouth-blown, each piece carries the subtle irregularities of glass worked by hand. With a candle inside, the ribs glow from within and scatter warm light across a table; empty, the generous opening holds short stems, a few branches, or even pens on a desk.
